This new school for Kindergarten through eighth grade students replaced a 1950s era elementary school and helped ease overcrowding at the other district middle schools. We focused on flexible furniture solutions to accommodate 21st century learning goals and used bright pops of color for economical visual impact and appeal. Finish selections reflected sustainable design goals for anticipated LEED Gold certification, as well as durability and maintenance-friendly materials.
